From Carlos Abreu, one of the founding fathers of Aragon Cigars:
My grandfather had two passions, horses & cigars. Living in the Dominican Republic and owning a good amount of land, he taught me how to follow my own passions as I got to watch him do what he loved - raising horses and growing tobacco. My earliest memories are that of watching my grandfather wrapping cigars & smoking them outside on the porch after a long day on the farm. When I smoke a cigar, no matter where I am, I’m instantly transported back home - right onto my grandfather’s porch, watching the beads of sweat trickle down the side of his water glass.

Years ago, the three founding fathers, Carlos Abreu, Gregg Zahour, and Seth Joyner, bonded over time spent smoking exceptional cigars, sipping fine bourbon, and getting lost in good conversations. Colleagues quickly turned comrades.
There is something to be said for this blend of character - an entrepreneurial sales leader, a passionate IT executive and an Eagles Hall of Famer, and a city-favorite Philadelphia Eagles player. Each brings a unique perspective and an idea of what a cigar should taste and feel like. Balanced. Smooth. Bold.
